What’s New?

I'm pleased to join Iowa City traditional musicians Dennis Roseman (and the rest of Sweet Cacophony), Al Murphy, and Dave Moore in a presentation at the annual Folk Music Alliance Midwest Conference in Iowa City on Saturday, October 29 (Amos Dean Ballroom A of the Sheraton Hotel, noon-1:15pm) I'll play a song or two and talk about Folk Songs You Never Sang in Grade School.

Tara McGovern and I, joined by uilleann pipper Jon Cooper, have recorded most of the album version of Folk Songs You Never Sang in Grade School. We are planning a CD release in May, 2017.

For a taste of what we've recorded, listen to "Let No Man Steal Your Thyme" and "I Ride an Old Paint" with "Midnight on the Water."
